Hi there, I’m Josee – with two e’s. I am a Boston based journalist but grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Just like Boston winters, my academics are at two degrees. Currently, I’m a junior pursuing a B.A. in International Relations and a B.S. in Journalism at Boston University.
When I was four, I loved stories so much that I would sleep with my storybooks under my pillows. Now, I’ve found some new ways to channel that passion without the neck pain.
My work as a community engagement intern at WBUR 90.9, Boston’s NPR News Station, gives me the chance to “keep democracy running.” As a development and communications intern for the Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti, I aid with advocacy and human rights efforts within Haiti
With a global perspective, I am a proud member of the Boston University International Affairs Association. I produce the International Relation Review’s digital video segment REACT News and design layouts for the published journal. Previously, I served as an editorial intern for Boston University School of Law.
And of course, I can’t forget my love for BU. I’m a proud COM Ambassador and Dean’s Ambassador for the Pardee School of Global Studies. I’m always available to chat about student life and where to find the best food on campus. This summer, I will be a Student Advisor for Orientation.
In my free time, I love to dance to early 00’s pop hits, make delicious fajitas, and cheer on the Boston Bruins.
Thanks for taking the time to read a little about me. Now, I want to hear about you! Click on over to “Contact” on the sidebar and tell me your story.
Peace and Love,
