Josee with two e’s

Hello there, nice to see you here!

I’m Josee, a journalism & international relations senior at Boston University with a passion for storytelling, adventure, and the Boston Bruins.

I fell in love with stories as a little kid – I loved them so much, that I would stick my books under my pillow before bed. Just to make sure I didn’t forget them in my sleep.

Soon enough, that passion continued to grow – leading me to my passion for sparking a global dialogue. With seven billion people across the globe, there’s a lot we can learn if we choose to listen to others,

As I wrap up my college career, I can reflect on great opportunities I’ve had across the world. I co-anchored 2018 midterm coverage for BUTV10, earning a New England College Emmy! This spring, I worked Simon & Schuster’s UK headquarters in London. And, this summer I am interning at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington DC.

Meanwhile during the school year, I continue to produce a daily television news broadcast called, The Wire. So far, I’ve produced written and digital content for The Daily Free Press, Boston University School of Law, the Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti, and the undergraduate academic journal, the IR Review.

And what’s work without a great community to share it with! I’m a proud coordinator of the COM Ambassador program, which provides peer mentors for incoming freshman ’til past graduation. Also, serving as a Dean’s Ambassador for the Pardee School of Global Studies allows me to represent the school to ambassadors, dignitaries, and world leaders.

That’s a bit about my story, now I’d love to hear yours.

Talk soon,

Josee
